Shame on you! You dirty car!
Cars. No matter how much you tell them, man, they still get dirty! They bring everything into the garage, including dirt, mud and motor oil. I mean, jeez! When will cars learn to be house broken!
And it doesn’t matter what you tell them, they’ll just ignore you. But what can you do – you just love them so much! Once your car gives you that look, well, you melt inside.
One of the things I find that a lot of car owners do when it comes to their garage is use interlocking garage floor tiles. When nothing else seems to work, these tiles really do the job. They’re like industrial floor tiles in that they can take any amount of abuse and can be wiped clean in minutes.
Right now, in good old Pittsburgh it is snowing again like crazy, our second big storm of the winter. With that brings beautiful white snowflakes and a white sky - it also brings a lot of dirt into my garage. I rent, so I absolutely have to keep everything pristine and in working condition the way I found it, including the garage floor!
By using the interlocking floor tiles I'm able to put a new "topcoat" over the existing floor without using concrete, glue or any other adhesive, and I can lay them down myself and pick them back up myself without any help when I move!
That means all the dirt, gravel and snow that my car brings in stays on the interlocking floor tiles rather than the actual garage floor. And all you have to do to clean it is add some hot soapy water, rub it down with a workman's broom, and spray some water on it, and it's good as new!
